Well thought i would join in on the fun and hoped to get some ideas on what to do next...keep in mind this boat transformation was done by two college kids on a very tight budget trying not to spend a dime were we didn't have to. We got this boat for $300 bucks its a 1973 Ranger 1655 with a 115 evinrude.

In the beginning with a platform we built with scrap wood and a case of beer...

We ripped out alot of the old wood to give us more room to move around and install some speakers.

Figured out we wanted to go with a black and red theme for the Night Rider boat

slowly working on it now, will have the decal done soon...

our next step will hopefully be working on a better platform and lights but she still can kill some fish the way she is!

Amazing transformation! Good job. :tu:

New thread section is due and the title would need to be"Pimp my Boat" Looks damn good it looks like you had a little fun putting it together. That way you have more pride in it. When is the christening

haha yeah its def a party out on the water, shooting fish is just a bonus!

So they are replacing a lot of the railing at my school and i notice it was all aluminum, i asked the workers and they say it was all trash so i loaded up the truck! the longest piece is over 16 feet, so i was hoping to build a platform out of it. what do yall think would be the best use of the material?
