just got back and i ended up not shooting any gators. my son shot his and i had lots of oppertunities at tons of 9 footers and some 10's. also had a huge one but just couldnt connect with him. tried for hours and even came back a few times but man he was smart. also did some bowfishing to. talipia, sheepshead, mullett, and longnose gar.

Right on bud,I know ya worked hard for that big one,but thats how it goes.I have come home empty handed many a time after passing on animals anybody would die for,that means you have reached another level!!

i think i have changed, 2 years ago i would of shot every 9 footer that came within range.
