That's like saying go with a rd rod instead of a shoot thru rod if you want a rod. Innerloc grapples came up with the idea but had some issues, (**** tips on their points, having to take the tip all the way off, huge ferrule, etc) now ams and Muzzy both have grapple style points without these issues.

The stingrays work good for a short amount of time. By the end of the trip you'll have trouble keeping it tight. The Ankors AT does not have that problem. We use them every trip, you'll only loose the fish that wasn't shot in the right spot. That hold.

Also. Bohning has a new tip out. We shot it the other night. They are even smoother, plus loosen and stay right better than any of the "release in fish" tips we have used

bohnings tips are junk the are a soft aluminum they only work good a couple times then the blades wont fully open cause the metal bends into the channles...

ankor qts are stronger and last longer i really liked using them you literally put the fish in the barrel twist your arrows pull it out rinse it off and screw it back tight... barbs are a little smaller then others but they really do hold up better than the bohning and work exactly as advertised

So the new Ankor QT and FX uses regular size muzzy replaceable tips? If so then I am about to order some. I love the Innerlock 3 blade but I hate buying 8 dollar points that last half the night.

I don't like them. 1. They are pretty thick points. The tips have been known to crack and the blades are small

I will still take the 3 blade grapplers any day over the ankorseries. The blades are flimsy and Bend easy they lock out and won't close easy or at all and are probably the worst points I've ever used in a three blade. Maybe I has a bad batch but it was when they first came out and it ruined me. I'll use a Cajun Longbarbs before I use an ankor series
