I love my 25' Tri-Toon. I have plenty of room for 8+ people. I have lots of bells and whistles that I wouldn't have room for otherwise. Its fishes much better than expected and moves around pretty good. I would find a cheap one on the side of the road and spend more money renovating it. I have a 112 lb minn kota and it pulls it around great.

bowhuntt -- do you have a build thread? Appears you are running a kicker and am interested in that. Thanks!

Jp has just about everything on that boat but a fan lol

Pontoon manufacturers use different thickness/gauge aluminum.

I don't bang mine around a ton but an occasional small bump is usually OK. Dented mine the worst by pinning my toon crossways against a partially submerged tree in the middle of a river with a lot of current. No fun.

I'm really thinking about getting a pontoon. Stable enough for multiple shooters and it sits up high already. I only shoot lakes and don't think iv ever hit a stump. And I'm more likely to convince my wife. She loves the pontoon idea because its not bowfishing specific

I thought that too. Then you take all furniture out along with the front rails, hang lights all around it, then get fish innards all over it. :tu:

Yep, bag chairs or coolers serve as auxiliary seating on mine.

Thank you! For some reason I could not think of the words "bag chairs" so I said folding chairs. Was bugging me
That's what that means!?!? You guys confuse the chit out of me. I heard bag chair and was thinking bean bag chair. I heard it more than once and though "they must make waterproof bean bag chairs now." Fold-Up Camping Chair in Okie language. Not to be confused with Fold-OUT Lawn Chair, those are for sun tanning.

You can get waterproof bean bags. They have become huge in the small boat/center console market for guys running offshore fishing for tuna/marlin/sharks. They are super comfortable. My biggest issue when I sit down in one is not falling asleep haha. Here is just one example... http://www.westmarine.com/recreatio...ional-chairs/west-marine--go-anywhere-marine-beanbag-chair-white-blue--14256481
