I just made up an arrow fiberglass x sure-shot and adhered it with JB Weld. I'm just trying that to see if it works any better or worse than anything I've tried in the past.

What has worked the BEST for you over the years???

Loctite 495. Make sure you have something solid to ram arrow and tip against, it sets instantly.

I also use AAE epoxy. For faster dry times I slip them down the boot dryer. Done in a couple hours. Just don't put the nocks down, melted. Never had one come off on the water. I also like this stuff becuase when a tip goes bad I hit it with the torch until I see flames come out. One fast pull and shaft is out and ready for a new tip. Safety note: put the tip in a vise. I put the shaft in the vise once and heated. Tip flew off due to gas pressure. Bounced around the room like a pinball. Didn't find it until next fall when I noticed a hole in a Rubbermaid tote. Melted right through and continued down into my favorite rain gear. Now my elbow gets wet!
