I am curious to hear what some of you long time bowfisherman think about this?
I have seen a few videos of this.
it is kind of appealing to me because I dont have a truck at the moment, but I could make a kayak work. I am curious what people think, do and use.

I have seen a lot of videos of people doing it out of kayaks. I think thats how a lot of people started actually. If you can stay balanced enough to do it by all means go for it!

I have a wilderness systems ride 135 I shoot off of. As long as you have a kayak you're comfortable standing up in you can shoot off of it, it's different than shooting off a boat but it's super fun. I made a leaning bar for mine to hold my bow while I'm push poling along

I bowfished from my kayak for a couple of years - it was fun and a real challenge. My kayak isn't super wide and stable so I made outriggers for it using pvc pipe and lobster buoys. When I stood up, the kayak was wobbly but could not tip over so I just had to learn to trust it. It definitely can be done and is a cheap and easy way to do some bowfishing.

Suggestions on a Kayak that you can stand in? I have a been looking pretty hard at the Beavertail Stealth 2000. Looks really stable and I can also shoot ducks in the floodwater with it.
