I have been followed many time before. Most guys get board real fast when we don't go anywere special. The best we ever had was when we went dead last and there were boats waiting for us to go and we just sat there for 5 minutes. I could draw you a map of what we will do but a picture of spegetti would be better to look at. If you only knew the arguments we have every yr triing to decide what to do. Believe it or not we will decide were to go literally right at blast off. We just blast off and start making adjustments. There is no plan in our book for the trny just go shoot fish. We both know what we need to do to win and we try and do it. Top 5 is all we want. The higher the better.

LOL!I WANNA SHOOT FISH.....and place!!! :laugh: We have shot fish,and some good ones right there at blast off.....had a bum three years ago sleeping under the willow trees there where the weigh in is......yelling at us,while we were waiting for blast off.....my partner has good ears and said,"he is saying "Over here!!"I trllered over to him and he says,"They were splashin here all night,I couldnt sleep!",they werent splashin much but there were fish holding.I think we shot 10 or so fish right there!!!

Buds are killing boat loads on CL.
One just sent pictures of bucket of total hogs. He lives on CL--i'm soooo jealous.
Lots of 20lb'ers with the biggest so far 28.5lb last night.
Weather to be good and the spawn looks to be on.
Can't go until Thurs. but hope to fish Fri and Sat too.
The boat will be a slimmy mess by Sunday.
Here we go!!!!--the fun starts now!!

On Monday it started in the morning.
Yesterday he was on the water at 3:30pm and off before dark.
Think if it's on --it's on most of the day. It changes day to day but the last two days it been great.
We don't shoot at night so not sure what's going on then.
If you do shoot at night let me know how it was. I have lights that mount on my boat and a Honda 2000 genny.
Always say I was going to go at night but never make it--past my bed time--sucks to get old!!
I'll be on the water tomorrow and Friday so should have better info.

I know the feeling, it is a blast at night. I am going to put in at the casino fri morning and shoot that side first to see how it is I will let you know how the night shoot was.

Yea,the kid was at the banquet last year with flyers.He was putting it on a couple weeks after the Big shoot,He had one earlier and I wanna say a 33 lber won it?(not positive)I didnt have lights at that time either so didnt pay much attention...........also,you really need to go at night.Its come a long ways since the spotlight nights we used to pull.Here the day shooting hasnt been too great but it gets western at night

CL very slow today. Wind and murky water.
Killed 5--20lb the largest.
Very few spawners mostly in open water.
Hope for less wind and more fish tomorrow.

It' just up to the carp to cooperate and get in my boat--with alittle help from me.

CL still slow yesterday.
Killed a few missed a few.
Just enough wind to have to find a sheltered place to see fish.
I see they closed the bay west of the State Park this year.
Assume the State did it.
Markers say No hunting/ No Bows.
Not sure why they would close it. No dock and no camp sites.
Didn't see what they said until I was comming out of there--no fish anyway.
Did you make it down JD? If so how'd you do?
