So yesterday I was finally able to get my hands on a genny . I traded a nice fellow for a polan pro chainsaw. The genny runs fine from what I can tell, plugged in some lights to test it out and it's good. So was this a good find? What preventive maintenance Should I perform to keep it going strong?

I like synthetic oil and 100% gas if you can find it.

I would clean the carb bowl as that baby looks to be vintage.Might as well replace the spark plug too.Find you a rubber truck bed mat,cut it down and cover the front and top...turn the exhaust out the back of the boat.It will help with the noise a bunch.
