Has anyone built a battery and convertor box combined? I want to keep everything in close together so I don't have wires like spaghetti everywhere and save on wire length cost. Fr3db3ar borough up the concern of the batteries giving off toxic/ corrosive fumes and it might effect the convertors. Is that much of an issue? What if I put in a partition wall between the batteries and convertors and vent both sections?:fire:

Its very doable. All you gotta do is put a fan or two in there. Get you some of them led ones. Thats what I got on mine and they work slick

I was thinking of using a box similar to this-

Set it right next to my generator. Maybe even put a pad on the top as a seat since im sure my buddies will use it for a seat anyways:dh:. Also would use it (or have in it) as a junction box for my lights and maybe a couple switches for the lights and/or convertor power so i can switch them on and off at will. I do really like those led fans:duh:!

Yup. I went with the removable converter box. I keep it seperate from my battery box but wouldnt hesitate to keep them together in one box. I just like the fact that I can use my converters anywhere. My battery box is hard mounted, but the batteries are obviously removable. I have everything in that battery box... the fuses, and all the wiring. The switches are on the outside of it too. Works slick
