I need help figuring out how to wire my Lumatek Digital Ballast. I know Im an idiot and it should be just plug and play. But, I have a hard time understading something without pictures. Can yall please post pictures of how yall have wired your digital ballast. I know Sporto had a great thread before the website crash. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

UMMM???

I thought that you had a power supply cord, looks like a computer monitor cord, then the other end should plug in and run to the lamp socket... white black and green wires....

Your ballast power cord will have a 120v or a 240v plug made on the end of it depending on which one you ordered. The output cord will have a computer style plug on one end of the output cord to be plugged into the ballast. The other end will likely be just cut off. You will have to wire the black, white and green/ground wire to the back of the bulb base inside the fixture.

The first pic is the output cord that came with the ballast connected to the mogul base. The second pic is how I have everything wired up on my hunk of junk! Look at the left ballasts...... The cord coming out of the left side of the ballasts is the input/power cord. It runs to the recepticle which I have running off of a switch on my console. Switch off=recepticle off. The wire coming out of the right side of the ballast is a short output cord thats about a foot long with a "computer" connector. It then plugs into the output/lamp cord that has the corresponding plug. It then runs straight to the fixture and is wired to the mogul base. Hope this helps.

JP, thanks your the man. I knew you would have some pictures and some advice. Thats what I wasnt sure about, I have all the guts out of my lights, and wasnt sure if I sure keep the wires already comming off my lamp socket or splice and wire them straight to it. I think this answers my question, and when I screw something up I will be coming back to you for answers!

Yes Sir I have them, I bought them last year and have been putting it off since last August. We have a shoot in two weeks and I have to get my ass in gear.
You better get on the ball. There's 12' gator gar and tilapia the size of groupers waitin---

I know I know, Im trying. I might be calling you for help, or bringing my boat to you the day of the shoot for help. I am so clueless when it comes to all of this and I know how easy it should be. I think im just confusing myself.
