Okay guys I switched to the F&D pro real seat with a TJE shoot thru rod since the beginning of this season and I'm about to throw it in the lake. I love the set up when it works, but it seems like at least 3-6 times a night the dang rod comes lose and flips over especially when fighting bigger fish. I'm really getting tired of keeping a wrench in my back pocket to fix this.
Does anyone else have this problem, or have any suggestions on how to stop it? I screw the rod in as tight as I can into the real seat, then crank down the nut as tight as I can with a wrench. I'm about to Loctite it on, but that will be a pain if I need to swap reels. :headbang:
