I'm continuing to find more things that are a disappointment to me with my custom built f&f boat. Was not going to brings these issues to up to any one but , maybe could save someone else from the head aches and lies by doing as I did in buying a boat from doug or bobby at f&f boats. Their reputation of building great boats was bragged on by several people from this forum and others. Other boats may have been fine but mine has been a total disaster, from bad welding , leaking welds (several more than half dozen) , piss pure design, to no access for bilge pump thur hulls and rigging tube for steering and cables , low transom heigth ,and to thin of flooring material. All theses issues I've had to address with modifications at get time and expense by me. But today I was drilling hole on hull with hole saw for bilge thru hull and found that F&F stuck it to me once again, I requested and paid for hull material to be
1/8 thick, not .100 and .090 as I found today. Wish I'd just drove off and left it setting there with good old bobby at F&F custom boats. Sorry for the rant but maybe I'll save someone else some head aches and from being lied to and swindled.
