You would have to build your own since the motor on a genny is sized to fit the generator unit-very little hp left over to drive a fan.

I am not so sure about that, what is the Genny motor turning? I don't have your knowledge, but it would seem just the armature? You could install a manual throttle that overides the Gennies on demand throttle maybe?

The generator requires a lot of HP to turn it.........Your alternator on your car uses 5 + HP to turn at higher speeds.....the faster you turn a generator the more resistance it creates.....The more current you use the harder it is to turn........you don't get energy for free.....

Your right...but an oversized electrical requirement genny and you might have enough left over for a fan. A 30 hp tractor turns a bush hawg no problem.....

I would think a manufacturer would use the min size motor to run the generator to keep price down......there might be a little spare room left but not much..........to me there would not be enough to run a fan.........but that's just me.....( us old farts don't know nothin...lol)

Old farts know plenty, I am 39, not a youngin' I asked if it would work or maybe could, not sayin' it will just thought maybe it was worth lookin' at rather than having 2 motors.

might check this out... yes it's a second motor but the site says the shipping weight is only 36lbs.. i think it would be more worth ur time just to go with a second motor than try to fool with trying to rig something up that might or might not work.. may not be the most powerful motor but i'm sure it would push a boat a little bit and probably a lot better than trying to run 2 things off of one motor when that specific motor was put on a generator to supply enough power for the generator itself and nothing else.. don't know too much about rigging things up but i do have a little common sense and this is what my common sense tells me
