Its right handed and i have moved the rest both directions and still tail whipping left. Im shooting fingers and I have the bowfishin whisker buiscut rest. If I cant get this thing to shoot straight I might go to the quick rest

The only thing I can figure out is that this bow isnt even. If you measure cam to cam you should be able to put your nock point in the middle of your string to get an even pull on the arrow. This bows nock point is 2 inches high. If you move the nock point center then the arrow will be pointing way up and it wont center

Buy a fanman rest and get finger slick's. Those whisker bisquit's are not the way to go on tht bow! And be sure to set the nock 1/8 inch above center level of fanman rest. Be sure you have ur bow in time also.

A lot of people shoot a wisker bisquit rest but they are designed for release shooters. Finger shooters cannot release the arrow straight enough for maximum performance from this rest. Most the shoot a WB rest with fingers have tail whip and don't even know it.

Thanks Josh

I would set the nock point just a little high, also is the timing of the bow off? What poundage is it at right now? It may be possible that its too light.

I havent had it timed yet. I just got the bow form Bowfishing Country. By the way is an awesome website, (good job guys). The barracuda comes in 40 lbs

U can check the timing on ur own with a bow square 8 bucks from dicks sporting goods or ur local archery shop. Get one there r very useful. Set ur nock point, check timing, and find centershot and so on.

I would guess timing is the problem. When the cams roll over, is the back wall really solid or does it feel kinda soft. If it feels soft, it probably timing. Hope it helps!:tu:

The B.S. flag is out on that.. The bowfishing biscuit is the most forgiving, easiest to tune rest out there.

I always set my nock point just a nut hair higher then it should be. This gives the arrow kind of a point down direction, seems to shoot good and penetrate the water better also. Not sure you can go with the Fannman rest just yet, don't think he has them for the Gen II cudas, I could be wrong though. Buy a Quick Draw rest :tu:
