All depending on what your plans are for location, you could do 3 banks. 1 bank front, 1 bank left, 1 bank right. If you don't want banks that will work too and yes its pretty much as simple as that. You will need a genny that can handle a minimum of 2000 running watts with that setup you have. If you have any questions feel free to ask me or one of the other guys on here.

Here is what I did. Running 8 halos with 225 ultra bulbs in them. Im running 4 lights per side. Started at the front light on each side and ran back grabbing another light as I went. When I got to the back of the deck I brought both sides to the center into a J-box with a switch. From the J box I ran some big RV power cable back to the genny and hooked in the 30 amp RV plug. Works great.

This is what I was thinking of doing. I'm no electrician so I'm trying to figure it out as I go. I'm guessing the "j-box" is a junction box that meets the 2 wires to connect into the RV wire? What size wire should be running to the genny for.the 220? And what kind of wire are u using on ur lights? Sry for all the questions or for if I'm hijacking this thread I just wanna make sure I get this done right the first go round lol

Yeah its the junction box. My front two lights are hooked into these

Then go to the next light in the row and connect to that one in one of these (in one side, out the other. Light wires come in thru the "T" part)

All my wiring is connected with this stuff in 3/8" size. Believe it has 12 or 14 gauge wire inside.

The chord that runs to the genny is just RV 30 amp supply cable. Go to any electrical house and tell them you want 30 amp RV cable and they will sell it by the foot. OR you can get it at Walmart in a 30' roll for $50 bucks. Electrical supply was much cheaper.....like 15' for $15 bucks.

Hope that helps ya.
