is 55 lbs to much lbs on a bow for bow fishing
I'll make ya eat them words in a Cali Spawn.....you could actually just hand thrust arrow em....evn yall's bows would work then LOL!!!If I fish in the daytime it's gonna be with a R&R or trotline. That daytime stuff is too boring unless you can get a shot at a big gator gar.
Ours sucked really bad this year too because we didn't have one.Unless you want to call fish screwing way back off in the woods a spawn.Got flooded out.Normal pool is 30+ feet below where we needed it to be for a good shootable year.Oh well.Kind of getting use to it being that way any more because these jack asses passed a law a few years back called "regulated flow" or some crap like that to cater to the delicate needs of trout fishermen below the dams.In other words, they don't give a chit about "pool" any more. What they care about is money. Before that ever came about our spawn was fantastic, but them days are very few and far between any more. The only way we will ever get into fish now the way we use to be able to count on getting into them is if we have an abnormally dry spring where they can't hold the water back on us.But that's kind of like wishing in one hand and chitting it the other to see which one fills up first. :laugh:LOL!!Yea,Casey there be fish.....like yall have?I dont think so.This year was my absolute worst. The fish are all jacked up.I never shot a spawn this year, and still cant beleive it.Jeff hasnt got on one,and that is a crying shame. He is my photographer, and I promised him to get him into a real shoot next season. So there will be photo'sI never even made it to my big fish spot this year.An average day is 80 fis,I think the best we ever did was 250?(I cant recall for sure)Have to remember all we have are commons
