How do u add lighted nocks to your arrows. I have tried those glue on adapters but they seem to make back of the arrow heavy and they fly funny.

I actually ordered on Ebay some shaft built for bowfishing and the use of lighted nocks. The only problem I am having is finding or adjusting the nock to stay tight on my string. Tried heating them and mashing them closer together but doesn't last and adding serving to your string doesn't work for your other arrows if you want to change so I have kind of stopped using mine until I find a better solution.

I taper all my arrow shaft on my lathe to accept a standard bow hunting carbon shaft, trim down the fiberglass to the inside diameter of your carbon shaft. I glue that on the end then just use the appropriate lighted knock for what ever carbon arrow shaft you used. Just make sure your carbon extension is long enough to except the lighted nocks battery. Seems to work well for me.

My boy bought the adapters which I assume is like slipping a 2213 over the shaft.

What we experienced and heard was the adapter slam into the face of his QD rest which bent and chipped the adapter all to heck and threw the shaft off flight. Looking at the setup it made sense that a square shoulder of an adapter was going to hit the square shoulder face of the aluminum QD rest bottom. We then fired the other adapter through his other bow with a muzzy fishhook rest after looking at clearance, no issues at all because of the muzzy V design at the bottom of the rest and maybe the soft plastic if there was any collision.

So if you use a QD, you might not want to consider a slip on adapter or 2213 IMO.
