man i dont think ive ever seen you say anything good about a boat that shawn has built.... why is that? is there a prefect airboat anywhere im guessing yours is? if so i guess you need to take it to him so he can make sure to make everyone esle boat prefect.... why do you dog on someones boat that they have saved for, for along time its there pride and joy and you go knocking it down.... i just dont understand why you would do something like that
damn dude....wasn't knocking it. Just pointing out a concern. No, IMO there has yet to be a "perfect" airboat. If I had a boat on here and was showing pictures, I would appreciate people pointing out things that might save me some headache and troubles. Just my opinion. Guess you guys don't want advice. You ******* boys get your panties in a wad really easy. Boat looks good...Congrats on your boat pennem!

its not that im getting my panties in a wad... can you show me where you have posted on a boat that shawn has built that you havent said something bad about? penns boat is almost done and now you wanna save him some time by telling him something that he is gonna have to redo his front deck to fix it, to make it look right... but i just figured with how you tell people what problems you see with there boat, i figure yours should be pretty close to prefect if not prefect

Other than the rear steering stick being too far forward, its a nice looking rig.

Unless your Shaq sized, your gonna have trouble making full right hand turns with out unazzing your seat. I have to almost unazz myself to make a full rt in my boat and my steering stick comes right off the corner of my seat when going straight. I am 6'2 and from finger tip to finger tip I measure 6'4'' so I got pretty long arms.

Have you sat in the seat and actually been able to push the steering stick all the way forward comfortably?

Those were put there so the line would easily slide back up the front on a missed shot or even with a fish on, keeps the lines from catching the corner of the light rail, it was an idea to try, they will be easy to remove if Penn absolutely doesn't like them but I like em lol

robin, i believe brady is right on what warrior-p is referring to.. but i always was under the impression that the "toe kick" was the area under the light rail the turns back out to allow more room for your toes up against the light rail, and i too was curious how you would remove that!:cf:

im with warrior on this one.. i like the concept, but if it was mine i know the end result is my big azz causing a big ole splash!!! again each their own and thats what makes it interesting is seeing all the ideas everyone comes up with. Its certainly a Nice boat!
