theres not alot of big ones like that but every few years someone will get around that 50 pound mark, just wish it was me lol, my biggest is 39 pounds

the trap was about 10 feet from the tree on the ground. I made a cubby set with beaver for bait. They love beaver. Trap was on a drag that was 8 feet long and he went up the tree after he was caught. Never had one do that before was looked kinda cool when i found it. in my opinion cats are one of the easier animals to catch and this one took about 4 days to get in that set.

Seriously what male doesn't like a little Beaver!!! what male hasn't got caught in a trap from time to time over trying to get some beaver!!! it a DANGEROUS world out their!!!

I broke 50 one time and it was a depredation cat(killing lambs)I couldnt keep it.The biggest I ever caught other than that was 48 lbs here a couple years ago(I think I posted a pic of it)
