Two of my best friends are going to do some work in Austin in september, has any one got any idea what lakes, or rivers to shoot, big buffs or gars. Sure would appreciate any help, DWO.

Lots of good water with-in an hour of Austin...but no bank fishing that I am aware of.

20 ft xpress with a yamaha 4 stroke 150, lights and all, new boat, they are bringing it. Are there any good size buffs around there, they'll travel!

BAhahaha! Good point! There are some rocks showing in all the Austin lakes. Not shooting at those armored fish either. Seriously tho Dell, The water is crazy low but several of the local lakes have huge buffs. BUchanan is almost dry and full of big buffs. They would have to be concentrated.
