I assume it has papers telling what prong is what? See in the pic of the 1 I posted the prongs are all labeled

yea its got letters on the prongs so hopefully I can trace all the wires and it will crank up!

So here's what I drew up. I know its a crappy drawing and not to scale but it gets the point across. This is how I had my fan hooked up if memory serves me right. If anyone sees a problem please comment so I don't steer him wrong!. BTW I have the fuel pump on the same circuit as the fuel cut solenoid just because it was closer than running another wire all the way from the key to the pump.

So I got my switch wired up and now everytime I try to crank it the inline fuse blows on the wire coming from the starter solenoid to the switch

thanks schaff! that's how its wired up but it keeps blowing the fuse between the starter solenoid to the switch but I talked to kajun and he said it could be the starters locked up and, or the solenoid because the engine hasn't been started in at least 3 years

well I got fed up and just took it to a small engine mechanic and an hour later and 80 bucks and it runs like a top! what kind of oil do yall suggest I run in it?
