I have and old hull of an airboat that we wrecked during a bowfishing trip. The hull is still in perfect condition. We had a 20hp motor with a 3 blade composite prop on it, we never really used it cause the lake above us was generating almost every night so we gave the motor to a good friend of ours that put it to good use. I plan on getting a bigger motor but i dont want it to be an actual airboat. I just need it to get us from spot to spot. I also need some ideas on a nice deck that wouldnt be to heavy. Any input will help

Would the boat go over dry land with the fan. Wouldn't think so with a 20 h.p fan

It wouldnt go over land. And i want it to be an fanboat and not an airboat but i was wondering what kind of motor do i need to put on it. I dont want to haul ass but i dont want it to be slow. Sorry for the confusion

well we know you wanna have a pusher fan but the question is, what are you trying to push? size of the boat? and what do you want it to be able to do?

i dont know the specs, its back home in TX but i know its 14 ft. Its a decent size boat and i just want it to have enough power to push 4 people around with the generator and all the other equipment. The other motor worked it just didnt have enough power to get the boat through shallow water. It was like was draggin the bottom and we had to get out and push it a couple times and if there was a little current it wouldnt push through it

You sure you're not CCK???....I agree with maglite, that boat with that load has no business having a fan setup on it.
