Yeah treated is way heavier.
I didnt check what marine grade weighs.. but I read on a lot of pontoon forums that people have been using this advantech on them and have been happy with it. I hope it holds up lol, I treated it with water sealer as well.

This should be a fun build to watch .... good luck!

It's off a 22 footer, I am only using the front half of the new railing and the back half of the original.
Why not use the whole 22 ft setup, then you would have two feet at the back of the boat for fuel and a generator.

The rail that come with it has storage on either side of the motor on the toons and a platform 2 ft x 8ft over top of the motor, I going to keep it, the platform is around 3 1/2 above the floor of the boat.
You can kind of see it here..

Keep that treated wood away from any Alum. It will eat it up.
Yeah I am, the treated is only to be used in the bases for the seats, and they will be on top of the carpet and advantech flooring.

Spend a little more $$ and go aluminum deck like Arideck or Lockdry. Way lighter than Advantech and last forever. And it looks cool...
