Picked up a new project this winter. My woman wanted a boat to take the family out on and I needed be able to Bowfish off it still sooooo.. I got a 24 foot Lowe pontoon. Picked it up for $1800 with a newer tandom trailer under it. The motor is blown but it's a Chrysler anyway so it was coming off there. I have a 100 hp Merc I may put on it, not sure yet. The boat seats were crap and the floor was redone 4 years ago with normal plywood.. So I decided to replace it all. I picked up some used seats and railing off eBay for $500. For the flooring I am using some newer stuff called advantech. It's made for house construction and guaranteed not to buckle for 500 days untreated, and 50 years in a house. It was only $28 a sheet as well. I am ordering carpet tomorrow and got most of the boat stripped off today. I plan on making the front railing removable and making the carpet on the front removable as well. It should be a decent boat for bigheads on the river.
Here is how it was when I bought it
