I finally am able to post! I have been going crazy reading up on every post and watching every video on YouTube! Shout out to the awesome build guys! Carpcommander you rock!
A little background. Started bowfishing summer of '14. Found a generator in the trash. First time out we tipped a tripod halos you use for construction over the boat. Thought we were going to get shocked but it just smoked like crazy after we ripped it out of the water. 1 still worked after that tho. I built a wood platform and bought 2 home Depot 75w hps.... Worked great on my 14' but time for an upgrade...
Friday night a couple months ago Im surfing cl and find an 1860 polar kraft in TN! Convinced my wife and by 1am we were on the road and by noon Saturday we were exchanging cash! Got her for 1600 and 200 in gas and 140 for the boots my wife had to buy while we stopped by Nashville. (that was part of the negotiation process, she'll go with me if she can get new boots!)
So here I am new boat in the driveway. Everyday looking up deck builds, boat builds, aluminum welding, grapple points, Osprey....
I wake up at 3am and can't sleep. Turn over, still can't sleep. 4am now and might as well look on bfc for build treads. Carp commander builds keep my attention. Then the duck dynasty guy, garp, crazy hair guy, cowboy all get me smiling when you guys rag on him.
I feel like a school boy on the night before the first day of school, or one of you guys before a tournament! How can a guy get some sleep around here???
