Hey guys I just got my new Maxxum 70 digital and went to a 24 v system with two grp 31 batts. Can't wait to try it out but I need some input from you guys on one issue. I had a 12v 43lb MG on it both trollers are 42" shafts which are right for my application but I noticed that the MK rides about 4" deeper at the highest shaft setting which is basically all the way up the ring that stops the shaft at the thicker part of the shaft. I was always running aground shooting spawners and my concern is that it's gonna be worse with the new motor. Is there any way to asjust it up even higher? I thought maybe that ring that stops the shaft from moving up might be movable since it has a hex nut on it. Anyway worse case scenario is I have a way better troller but I thought I would ask.

Did the same thing with a 6"x6" piece of square tube steel stock. Makes taking the troller off and on easy w/o having to crawl under deck to hold nuts when removing bolts.
