Brand new to bowfishing and already completely addicted! No boat for us so we are stuck with fishing the shore lines for now. Our first trip about a month ago was a real learning experience. The carp were fairly cooperative yet we only managed one fish each. The next weekend, however, was a completely different story! We managed to put a dozen fish on the bank and we lost another 8 more. Since then, we've only managed one other trip and that was on a buddy's boat at night. We got our asses handed to us on that trip. The fish were pretty deep and hung up in 3-5 feet of water. We probably shot 50-60 times each and I was only able to boat 2 fish. Had 2 more get off. We both had a heck of a time trying to learn where to aim with fish that deep. Oh well though. We will be back out soon to give it hell again!
