I guess I am still having trouble seeing what the big deal is...its a brand. Brands sell.
You're absolutely right that brand sells and a "cool" logo sells better. I believe the frustration is the "bandwagon" effect, being that if you have nothing to do with the lifestyle, sport, etc, but you think it's cool then you should slap a decal on your car/truck because the cool kids do it.

The kid that tried his hardest, but never fit in...

I guess its not that big of a deal to me, although working at Gander Mountain I do get a chuckle at the kids who drive up in big lifted trucks and wearing camo shirts who've probably never even been bitten by a mosquito before. But, yeah...its just something I think I look past for the most part. My dream is to establish my own brand, and if people wanna slap my logo on their car just because it looks cool, whatever.

I had no idea Salt Life made anything other than decals until this thread. Actually, I didn't even know Salt Life was a brand. I figured someone though it up and made a decal without patent then others started to make several variations to the original. Come to find out... Salt Life IS a brand and THEY are making the variations.

I would sport one of these on my hunting/beater truck if bumper stickers weren't as gay as a pecker in a... Well lets just say they're gay.

We'll said mr jones. I would love to pull my 300 mag out and start head shootn some zombies. Their to dumb to get out of the way when the savage starts eatn.

I think it depends on the circumstances. All these girls that drive around with pink Browning or the "Girls Hunt Too!" stickers drive me bananas. Most of them have never hunted a day in their life. Then you have the ones "that would if they could". I would totally throw a mudlife sticker on my truck if I could find one cause I don't think a 4x4 should ever be clean, but I'm too broke to pay for the repairs if I mess my truck up mud ridin' so I stay on the asphalt. So I wouldn't consider myself a poser if I put one on there just too poor to actually live the lifestyle.

problem is zombies react to noise. you have effectivley drawn the hoard to you and your long action bolt gun wont keep up. You need to think mag fed and suppressed.... when ZHTF i want to be nowhere near you rookie:cool:

I agree with you. The 300 is just to get started @ longer distance, then I will go to a medium distance semi auto, for the flock shooting with my ar, then to a pistol, then a trident, with a knife being held in my teeth awaiting a little hand to hand combat. I'm no rookie. I've been planning for years.
