Still muddy, but its getting better. It was slow at the bridge Saturday. I'll be back down in two weeks, I'm looking for much improved waters by then.

Yeah I saw that too. I'm wondering if its worth the trip. I did hear of trout being in the hole S.E. of the bridge today. Man I sure need something in my freezer.

Yeah the run off, and the two favorite creeks are a mess.I'm being told that within a mile of the I C.W. their catching channel cat! Only good news is the trout have picked up at the swing bridge.

Always was. We busted a hull, right at the transom one night out bullfroggin. The faster we went, the faster the water came it. We were all bailing water with whatever we had, boots, hands, hats. No one wanted to be treading water with the gators that night.

That's great! We were just talking about that last night. The best stories happen before, or after fishing!! Regardless of the weather, I'm heading down the weekend of 29th. I need to mow my mosquito's. Anyone in with me??

Wish I could. I'd love to get back down there for a bowfishing trip. It would take a week to fish all the spots

Were going to Sargent the 29th. I just got word the water in Caney is muddy and the fishing on the ICW has fell off. Hope it recovers !

if i can ever get this land sold here im headed straight for sargent to look for a place to buy.i will know by june 5th if it will sell or if i have to sit on it another year.(legal issues) i would love to meet ya down there some time to fish or just drink a beer.
