Ive posted this on the other thread Just in case some of you dont get down that far Ill re-post it here.............
I know everyone is down on ******* boats but here is the bottom line. I waited a year for my boat I paid in full and had my rounds with Shawn and Clark just like everyone else did. At the end of the day I got a badass boat that was worth every minute of the wait. The crew he has in there now are some of the best you could ask to work on a boat. These are truly custom boats any and everything I ask for was in my boat and alot more that I didnt. If theres anything wrong with the boat Shawn and his crew have alreay proved by being at my house to pick up my boat (which is about 4.5 hours away) 6 hours after I called just over a leaky gas tank that they are going to stand behind there products. Guys im one of the longest that was on the waiting list and for me it was about getting screwed out of my money. Once I seen that there were boats getting built I realized it was just going to take time.
I told Shawn I wanted my boat for a fishing tourney on March 9th He said that would be no problem. I was there on that Friday to pick up my boat. The guys were working to get it done. Long story short I missed the tourney but felt lucky enough to be there to see the quality work they were doing. They couldve just slapped it together and sent me on the way. After the boat was finished Shawn didnt like the way the fan cage looked and wanted me to leave it there for another 4 days so he could re-do my fan cage. At first I was a little reluctent because it had been so long and we were at the finish but then I thought to myself that if he had the craftsman ship to re-build a cage that I thought looked great then drive all night to deliver my boat at 4am to me so I wouldnt miss another weekend of fishing it was then I knew that he didnt let anything else slide during the build.
I may have to eat crow in 2 weeks when my boat falls completely apart on me but for right now I know ******* airboats was the right choice
I can assure you that anyone wanting there money back will regret the decision in the end. Shawn offered my money back on more than 3 occasions but I declined all 3 times
IF ANYONE IS BASHING ******* AIRBOATS THAT HASNT DONE BUSINESS WITH THEM I WOULD SUGGEST YOU GO GATHER YOU A LITTLE MONEY TOGETHER AND GIVE THEM A SHOT
