i shot this on guided trip i took some people on last night at a power plant lake..they found a python in the lake a few years ago and i told em that this fish might have gotten lucky and escaped one of its babies but it was probably just cause its a power plant lake..haha had them seein stuff all night

I caught a red fish once that had a peice of a net around it. It was kinda deformed like that fish.

I've shot several commons looking like that this year, was told there's a bad koi viruse going around and it messes them up and kills them. The ones I've shot by morning the meats falling off there bones like they have been in a smoker cooking! Most discussting thing!!! And there all alive and still going pretty good to. I've had 3 crippled up like that and a dozen that look like puffer fish with scales sticking strait out and eyes bulging out. Happens/spreads during the spawn. Might not be your fish but mine were like that.

Looks like whirling disease to me. We had it hit real bad in our trout population back home in WV a few years ago.

killed this one a while back... scales stuck straight out and had some kind of nasty fluid under them. Was fat as all get out when we shot it. The next day after being in the barrel it looked like a normal carp... wtf?

thats crazy lookin..ya i've shot a lot a weird lookin carp this year..one had like 3 scales on it and that was it. shot another that looked like a tank the scales were so thick and big and another that was almost completely black..this one just amazed me..i could see how this fish could swim let alone survive..
