Small fish: Piranhas and Pro Points with cut off barbs

Average fish: 3 barb Grapples or Piranha long barbs

Big fish: Gene Davis 4 barbs or Lil Stinger 4 barbs

Really depends on what kind of fish I'm shooting. For Bigheads I like the 3 blade graple modified so it will accept a Muzzy carp tip. Most other fish Muzzy point works fine.

Now to answer your question I've decided on the Shure Shot Penetrator as the best point for me. They hold as well as any of the others, yet offer that really easy quick release. This is especially useful if you shoot something, say a bog and cant get to the tip of the arrow. With the Shure Shots you just twist the arrow and retrieve it.

i dont know about yall but i tried the cajun longbarb and after like 10 fish the barbs were garbage. but those 10 fish held realll good

I like the innerloc Pro Point. I started out modifying muzzy QRs, then one day innerloc started making points like our modified Muzzys.

Gene davis-2,3,4 barb. Nothin on ne of my arrrows except GD ferrules. They work great for gar, small fish, med size fish. When you start geting into bigger carp or fish start gettin soft u dont need to change arrows just swap out to more barbbed tip and keep fishing. No Down time

always use a 3 barb grapple for the fact that i shoot stingrays mostly. the muzzy sting rays bend really easy if you get into a biggun. exploring other options for the snakeheads.
