40lb ams fishhawk, i like the snap shooting capabilities. 40lbs is strong enough to hit almost anything but not wear you out if youre shooting alot of fish.

Ya I shoot the fish hawk too from a 30ft pier and shoot sheephead 40 is plenty only thing is I use a carbon arrow and 3 prong grapple

I shoot a hoyt katera set at 68-72 depending on what scale you use, I bought a craze to replace it as the hoyt is about 3lbs heavier. But after three or four outing i switched back, couldnt hit (carp) with it.
