I agree!! I wanna see how people set these up, but still no pics! I saw on a video thet take 4 seconds to turn from full left to full right, which isn't bad, but not great either. I wanna use my boat for walleye trolling, this is the main reason I wanna go this route, but wanna see one set up before I spend the coin! And besides, a shifter cable will still be needed, someone post up some pics or video!!!!

I will get pictures Tomorow. Power tran is 4x faster then panther. I sent the panther back to cabelas. It takes about 1 second exactly to go from full lest to full right. It works perfect. Flawless

I am curious about this option also. When I started researching kicker setups I noticed everyone on here goes the custom cable stick steer route. If custom cables are $500, by the time you build the steering mechanism and all the custom fab time, you'd be ahead of the game getting one of these setups. Less stuff on your deck too.

I have a piece of 2" Alluminum pipe coming out of the deck. I built a 6" box on top. I have a steering remote and throttle remote mounted in top. Jack plate controls on side and ignition and tilt on back. I also have a wireless steering remote I keep attached to a belt loop. It travels as far as the motor will turn. I can turn very sharp. And yea I had the panther t4. Nothing compares to the powertran

I would love to see an actual video of the power tran turning back n forth. I wanted the panther just for the reason of having only one remote, now I'm not so sure?? I wanna get the stuff ordered this week, someone post up some video................PLEASE lol!!! Thanks for the pics btw, love the set up

Hey im with ya there. Even if you go with the Panther setup (trollmaster pro 3) and you wan to run wireless steering u need two seperate controls. The control that has both steering and throttle (panther) is corded. The power tran in conbination with the controllking seems to be the way to go from what i am hearing and seeing from these guys.

Wesley,

Do you use the tilt/trim jackplate very often?

Yes. Every time we come across a stump I just hack it up. Never hit a stump. Plus we can adjust the motor height with the amount of weight on the front deck. It really is a good setup.
