I see Panther marine has the wirelss licker steering, and powertran does also. But has anyone ran throttle wireless? I know it can be done somehow just not sure on the details, wondering if anyone else has doen something like this?
Only reason I wanted to go with Panther is I could just use one control box instead of 2. Only setback I am having now is, I called control king and they don't make one for my 2004 johnson 9.9 4 stroke. The trollmaster says theirs will fit 2003-2010 of my motor. The control king guy said his only run 2005 on up. Any case, I don't think the debate is between the throttle controls anymore for me. I just don't know if I would like the fast steering of the powertran or the slower of the panther? I still like the idea of having one control box and an extra wireless for someone else to run.Hey im with ya there. Even if you go with the Panther setup (trollmaster pro 3) and you wan to run wireless steering u need two seperate controls. The control that has both steering and throttle (panther) is corded. The power tran in conbination with the controllking seems to be the way to go from what i am hearing and seeing from these guys.
Its all good... i saw them. carpdiger put em up...i been wondering if anybody ever got the hydraulic plate from bobs shop....you like it?I sent them to him and he posted. Give me a few minutes to get home and I'll send them to you
I see you have the plate that hangs out away quit a bit, are there advantages of going with that style vs the straght up dn plate?
Westleys boat fishes like a dream ain't no jokeI think the motor turns the boat better the further it is setback.
I think the trottle is on a cord??? They have wireless steering kits though.I'm retarded.
What exactly do i need to order from powrtran or what not to both wirelessly steer and throttle?
Thanks!
