wheelie you should have drank the kool-aid. You would have really liked it. I shot those same fish from the clod water in the spring and never have a problem with penetration shooting my Onied at 37# and tuned dead nut.

Very happy with the Mission bow lineup. Bought a Mission Menace from trading post. Came with no finger savers on it. I have a portable bow press and have always been scared to use it. Tried a couple times and gave up on it. Dry fired Craze and string flew off and portable bow press worked like a charm on the Craze. Took string off of Menace and added finger savers and it also worked like a charm. Think the way the limbs are back and brace hieght of nearly seven inch make my press work like a dream. Nice to know I can work on them myself. Don't think I will even try with my hunting and target bows though. No going to press my luck with $1000 bows with it again.

been using a menace for few months now and so far happy with it but been looking at the craze and thinking of giving menace to my boy. Any advantages whatsoever to going with the craze over what I'm already using?
Craze is quiet a bite heavier than the Menace. Craze goes up to 70lbs. Craze looks nicer. LOL I want to shoot 50+ lbs here and I don't really like to max my bows out. I know bow companies say it is better to max bows out but like a car, does one get in and press the gas to the floor everytime. Alot harder on parts with things maxes out. I put string stops on my bows to quiet them down on lower poundages. If you don't plan to shoot over 50lbs there may not be a reason to change other than giving Menace to son. Hope this helps.

thanks for the info, I think the craze is a better lookin bow too but that's not a good enough reason for me to buy one really...lol I won't be shooting 50lbs with my menace, I've got a newer Martin Cheetah (55-70lb) for target shooting & hunting. But I'm thinking of selling my martin and the mission Riot a try. Anyone have any experience with these? A buddy of mine just bought one of the new Mission Ballistic bows last weekend and he loves it.

Not being contrary but there is no way in heii I could bowfish all night @ 60lbs. I turn my bow up to 25 lbs and I'm doing work !!!!!!!

hahaha fish here in the cold waters in the spring and you might as well just throw marshmellows at the carp. We only have a three month season from May 1st to july 31st.
