I guess it's time for an update all the launchs are froze up now so that can only mean one thing I'm impatiently waiting for spring and now it's only going to be about 3 months before I can get on the water again. In other news I've started welding in my tech class I've just been stick welding so far here's a piece of steel I built up and right now I'm learning to weld T joints

Good looking beads dude. Especially if your just getting started.

My shop teacher was old school, I had to Oxy/Act weld proficiently before I could move to Stick! The on to Mig and Tig. I got my 4G cert a few months after high school.

Keep up the good work man, those skills last a life time. Knowledge is Power and it's incredibly lightweight!

I learned to weld in high school too and have only done it a few times since but like gary said its a skill thats lasts. I actually wish I would have went to school for welding... It would help with the bowfishing addiction lol

Well it's supposed to be really warm this weekend and I have an open launch that they were seeing carp by while pike spearing I'm going to start rigging the Chipmunk up Friday night to be ready for Saturday night

I'm jealous dude. We're getting biblical rain storms out here, we'll be getting on the water late this year, since it looks like chocolate milk right now.

The good news is it will be a new adventure, I've never fished the lakes when they are full. Basically starting over this year.

It's a whole adventure for me to I've never been on the water bowfishing earlier than April 29th

If you can spear pike, can you bowfish them????

Warm here too, heading out tomorrow night for sure. If I can swing it I'm going to sneak out tonight for a little bit. Not normally fishing in February. Crazy weather, but I'll take it.
