Thanks for the compliments everyone!! It was a trip to remember for sure. A lot of work, but in the end...I wish I was still on the water shooting fish this week.

Also...I edited post#10, I uploaded the wrong picture for the third picture in that post.

You are one BAMF!! A few weeks ago me and my buddy shot some fish and when we were laying them out for a pic we noticed that one of the small common carp wasn't a common carp. We didn't have a clue what it was. Is this a goldfish??

Thanks!!! From that angle it does look like a form of goldfish. Did it have the barbel whiskers like a carp? If it didn't it is most likely a goldfish.

good lord i peed a little when seeing all them pics! BY FAR the best fish stickin thread in 2011...im jealous

:hb: Nice haul! Haven't shot a fish yet. Hopefully, we can shoot some fish in southern Indiana this weekend...

hey dead eye I am guessing those were last years spawn that you shot (the little ones) those commons are capable of grow rates that would make a bass fisherman cry! carptracker would no better than me though.

Thanks Hoopty!!!

It didn't have the barbels. We just thought it was some kinda sucker. Cool!
It does have the look of a redhorse sucker...but from the pic it is difficult to see the mouth structure on your fish. Still cool either way!!

I hear ya on the growth rates, they are a fish that is built to last the test of time.

These are carp in the picture below were taken in the same general area of the body of water I was shooting this year, but from the year before...that is why I think they might be two year old carp roughly.
