Okay, so we fish out of two different boats. Both happen to be 1648's. Our "river" boat is a flat bottom, 25hp outboard jet drive, flush deck. Our "lake" boat is a modified v, 15hp prop drive, flush deck. After fishing several tournaments this season in shallow river conditions, we completely saw the jet drive advantage. However, what boat enthusiast doesn't always want...... MORE POWER!? LOL. So, with that being said, the "lake" boat is getting a complete overhaul! Top to bottom. New decks, aluminum of course, pods, paint, and the most anticipated addition, a big ass jet ski engine! That's right, come along for the ride as we either completely destroy a perfectly good bowfishing boat or somehow find a way to transform our "decent" setup into an all around, any condition, "go to" rig.
