^^ thanks.. Question... im going to run a kicker similar to my last set up. but, I still run a trolling motor typically half the night while in tight spots or really skinny water.
So... group 30 agm batteries or converters hooked straight to the troller? Or for those who like to debate. is there really a benefit from agm batteries over Walmart batteries? .. I really cant decide on this. I love the thought of the powermax bowfishing model hooked straight to the troller to save weight but other than their website I don't know of many people doing this. I ran 6 group 29 batteries on my seaark and I could fish a 12 hr tournament, with the kicker I really only need one set, occasionally I wish I had the other bank... .. lots of fluff here.. Standard walmart batteries, AGM batteries .. Converter to troller... and go

thought id update this thread. still at it. picked up a 9.9 4 stroke for the kicker, I built a few bell crank components this weekend also. Cut the drain holes in the back. drilled the transom for the jack plate, finished welding the transom braces.

i have been pricing all the different "TURFS" hydro, shark, yoga bat, harbor freight, pep boys, etc.. on and on.. i think im canning that idea..

who uses truck bed liner? what types/ brands... successes and failures please. i think im going to just line it with non skid and be done.. the whole boat deck inside and floor.. opinions?

I tried 2 different kinds hercules and cant remember the other brand my opinion the "do it yourself" is a waste of money. Stuff will hold up good on any non contact areas. I ended up just taking it into a shop and having them do it. Going on 4th season besides being a little faded best money I have spent. End result probably have the same amount of money in the 2 kits as I do in the shop.

blackbeard, is it on aluminum or wood? did you install it?
Both. I have it on the flush deck that is wood and the floor is aluminum. Put it on last April and it still looks great. The boat also sits outside year round and doesn't show any wear. I just bought a gallon and used the special roller that came with the kit. Wear an old long sleeve shirt and gloves. That chit did NOT want to come off.

a couple hundred in herculiner.. and I may have my decking done..

or.. at 61$ per sheet of back tip no skid sheet measure 39x78 or about 21 square feet.. I have about 240 square ft. to cover.. 11.5 sheets at 61

697$

I called Linex.. they said they could make it stick for life at 8$ psqft... 240x8.. $1,920

at more than half price im almost forced to go black tip.. Opinions?
