i wasnt saying miltary rifles ONLY, if thats where the argument is then you read or i explained it the wrong way, mil spec is gonna be defined different depending on which part is being discussed, i used a butt stock as my example and the one you posted a screenshot of is the exact same one i took to afghanistan with me on my last tour except a different color and it will not fit on many of my ARs. i never said anything about upper lowers trigger groups etc...i simply mentioned a mil spec version of a buttstock and you jumped all over it with completley different parts of a rifle. Logan anytime you wanna come check out my ARs just let me know, just make sure you bring your checkbook because youll want everyone of em. have a nice day ladies.

mostly colt and dpms, some would have to be registered to you and have a wait for tax stamps as i have a few short barrels with suppressors. im going to make a thread soon in the classifieds for a bunch of weapons including alot of black guns once i have everything together on how to sell firearms with those type of mods. outrageous prices are not my style, i cant sleep at night knowing i ripped someone off, but i do know what they are worth and what i have in them. give me a couple weeks and start watching the classifieds.
With the way stuff is goin, if I wanted 1 with a suppressor, would u even be able to get a tax stamp? Bc if u had to wait a yr by then what if u can't even have em?

Logan what do you know it's not like you own a full auto m16 and use different uppers or anything! Oh wait....hahaha
o thats cool!!! i wonder if its like both of my full auto Ars with short barrels and suppressors???...hmmm

Contractor....i don't get paid that well lmao!

You guys must also think about this
For The "name brands"of manufacturers for ARs
There are only a few and they will stamp any name on them
In my experience the only time I had issues with non mill spec
parts was with furniture
The only difference there
e SHOULD BE is in the cut out of thereciever
for the select fire sear assembly
If you check with a go/no go and it clears
It SHOULD work

well ive already gone farther than i like too with arguing over the internet, thats high school non sense so i am done replying to you clark. no hard feelings and have a good day.

i dont see it being an issue but im not a politician so i dont know whats going to happen, im gonna look in to it a bit more and ask the guys at my gun shop and some of my ffl buddies what needs to happen before making anything official and trying to sell something i legally cant.

I don't care to argue anymore maybe I misunderstood what you said. All of my AR's have millspec buffer tubes so I can use millspec stocks. Some companies use commercial tubes some use millspec. But if you buy the whole tube and stock you can pick either one you want. My point was simply you could hand me your m4 you had overseas, and I could take any of my striped ar15's with a standard trigger, disconnector, and hammer (since their not full auto capable) and put a complete rifle together leaving you with a stripped m4 reciever.

I meant no foul feelings there bud, I'm just stating what I know as I have quite some experience in this field. And I probably wouldn't want any, I have plenty of toys.

Wouldn't suggest modifying it in any way
Sorry it took me do long to respond back
While typing the last post 3 does walked into range

You won't find those kits in stock for a long time. It's easier to just to order the parts separately. Plus not a big fan of those pinned gas blocks. The clamp on style gasblocks that Yankee hill machine sells are unbeatable, and they have flip up sights. The thing i like is god forbid your in the field during ww3 and have a gas issue, you can change a gas tune/block out in a matter minutes and not fight a pinned block.

If your serious about building now you need to look and buy as soon as you find these things:
Lower reciever
Barrel
Bolt carrier group

The rest of the parts aren't hard to find but these 3 are the ones on backorder everywhere.

Plus when you built it yourself you can use whatever furniture you want. Magpul sells full milspec furniture kits with butstock, handguard, grip, buffer tube, buffer, spring and all hardware for 99$

You'll find it easier to piece all your parts together then wait on these kits to come in stock. I have some parts lists on builds that I've done if you'd like to see some other options

DSG Arms Magpul MOE Carbine kit
DSG Arms CMMG Lower Part Kit
DSG Arms magpul trigger guard
DSG Arms Noveske Lower Receiver
RGUNS Nickel Boron Bolt Carrier
RGUNS Nickel Boron Charging handle
Palmetto State Armory Complete Upper Receiver
Palmetto State Armory Delta Ring Assembly
Palmetto State Armory AR15 Barrel Nut
Midway USA Stoner WC 5.56 16" chrome lined Barrel (carbine length)
Primary arms yankee hill machine .750" gas block
Brownells INC DPMS carbine length gas tube and roll pin
Brownells INC DPMS Flash Hider
Brownells INC Crush Washer
Brownells INC Round Hanguard Cap

I try to use reputable manufacturers but as youll soon find out sometimes you have to settle for something that is in stock and upgrade later.

So what optics do you prefer?
What would u choose tosee good enough to shoot on a full moon night at 150 yds on white sand?

If you want to see the best at night you may want a 50mm objective. It will allow the most light through though. Nikons are nice scopes, I personally have the BDC redicle. Go to bravo company and have then email you when parts are available. I just got an email a few days ago on parts but would assume they are sold out.
